Synopsis:

 
 
Eternia was a land of myth, sorcery and advanced technology, where epic heroes accomplished remarkable deeds, strange creatures roamed the land, and malevolent enemies wreaked havoc. Deep within Castle Greyskull lay the repository of universal knowledge, hidden in ages past by the Elders of Eternia. When young Prince Adam held aloft his magic sword and shouted, "By the power of Greyskull, I have the power!" the power of Greyskull transformed him from teenage prince to the bronzed skin, muscle-bound hero He-Man, who along with his allies defended Castle Greyskull and all of Eternia from the tyrannical Skeletor and his host of evil minions.

This version of He-Man was a revival of the classic 1983 He-Man series, which itself was based on Mattel's 1981 line of He-Man action figures. After the 1990 series, The New Adventures of He-Man, which sent He-Man and Skeletor to the planet Primus, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe were back on Eternia in 2002. Although this series had much in common with the original, it featured a separate storyline and focused on the adventures of a younger Prince Adam who, having just become Eternia's most powerful guardian, had to learn to handle his new powers if he was triumph over his enemies.
