Synopsis:

A French-Canadian wolf who spoke broken English, Loopy was a kind and gentle do-gooder who was always trying to help others. Rather than being appreciated for his good deeds though, he was constantly misunderstood and mistrusted because of his heritage.

Loopy DeLoop was the first theatrical cartoon series produced by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera after leaving MGM and opening their new Hanna-Barbera Studios. The last Loopy cartoon was released in 1965, as the era of theatrical cartoons was coming to a close. Afterwards, the cartoons were syndicated to local TV stations for a time, along with a lot of other Hanna-Barbera productions that had started on TV.
