A musically gifted
invertebrate with dreams of becoming a big showbiz star,
Squiddly Diddly was instead stuck living in the aquatic theme
park Bubbleland under the care of park supervisor Chief
Winchley. Squiddly continuously tried to escape in pursuit of
a musical career, but Winchley would always get
him back by the end of the episode. Despite their struggles,
the two remained good friends. Squiddly Diddly originally
aired as a backing segment during the Secret Squirrel half of
the hour-long Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show. Several years
later he appeared in Yogi's Gang, where he, together with
Touché Turtle, Huckleberry Hound and over a dozen others
roamed the landscape aboard a hovering ark, taking on
environmental issues. |
